‘Flavor of Freehold’ celebrates 9 restaurants
Freehold is home to some pretty great restaurants, and a food-focused event next week will give you the chance to taste what they have to offer.

Flavor of Freehold, presented by Downtown Freehold and now in its third year, will take place from 5:40 to 8:15 p.m. July 7 and 8 in the borough. Nine restaurants will open their doors to attendees, who can walk from place to place and enjoy samples of the eatery’s dishes throughout the evening. The participating restaurants are A Little Bit of Cuba, Metropolitan Cafe, The Court Jester, Shloka Fine Indian Dining, American Hotel, Cafe 360, San Marzano, El Meson and Solo Trattoria.

Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased, cash only, at the Downtown Freehold office, 10 E. Main St. Suite 4A. Organizers request you call before coming by. Tickets also will be available the night of the event, but only 250 are sold for each night, so advance purchase is recommended. Attendees who purchase tickets ahead of time will receive a $10 gift card to Especially For You Florist & Gift Shop and Jemm Optical, which will offer giveaways during Flavor of Freehold.
