The house was bought for £260,000 in 2016. Before and after pictures show the incredible transformation
A Mirfield house appears to have almost doubled its value after modern renovations including an extension.
The house, on Parkfield Way, Mirfield, in West Yorkshire, garnered 15 viewing requests in less than 24 hours of being on the market.
It was last sold in 2016 for £260,000 but after its incredible transformation is now selling for £475,00.

Benjamin Merritt, who is selling the house, explained that this is down to the house simply being bigger now: “Previous floor plan was 1412 sqft. Now it’s 1753 sqft.”
Public records show that the last house bought on the road sold for £260,000.
The house, which was built in 1992, used to be owned by an artist and was always unique as it backs into a canal.
A lot of money went into the renovations.
When asked for his design advice, Ben said: “Don’t rush into making decisions too soon as you can be left with designs or ideas you don’t like.
“We did that a couple of times and ended up having to renovate again so it really does pay to find designs you love.
“Then visit home design studios and look for inspiration of colour schemes, different ways to dress homes and where possible, use firms who have CAD designs so you can visualise the final result before you commit.”
Ben also says homeowners should review quotations carefully.
“I would also say take the time to get a few quotes. We had quotes £30,000 apart for our extension, so prices vary massively.”
Here are some more pictures showing the transformation.
