The findings of the 4,250 people from across the country revealed some of the most well-loved spring time classics are still favourite.
Roses, naturally, came out at top of the poll with 22%. Sunflowers, one of the nation’s favourites, came out second at 18% closely followed by the tulip at 15%. Last but not least lillies lay fourth at 12%.

In the heart of Ribble Valley, The Flower Shop has been established by owners Jim and Linda Hardman.
It was founded in 1995 when the shop was just a quarter of the size it is today.
The business has since expanded considerably while maintaining the same values of quality and style.

ASDA’s mum’s delight bouquets start for as little as £5 and is offering a Mother’s Day flowers and chocolate bundle for just £9.
The store is also doing a Mother’s Day event where customers who buy a gift or card from their Mother’s Day range will also be making donation to Tickled Pink. The charity are celebrating 25 years of fundraising for breast cancer charities.

Flowers with passion is run by multi award-winning floral designer Sara Barrow and her hubby Carl. Operating from a studio near Longridge, the florist is officially recognised as one of the best in the country having been accepted into The Good Florist Guide.
It currently working behind closed doors and a delivery service is no longer available however it is still taking orders for click-and-collect.
